Based on a novel concept, combined with the skill in the production single crystalline diamond powders at the Oyama, Tochigi, Plant, we have now added the two new classes to our precision machining abrasives. |
MD/PM class sub micron diamonds |
Further in particular:
MD Class: |
MD Series: |
The basic type powders are fitted for the use in aqueous slurry. The powders are hydrophobic, with the surfaces covered with oxygen-containing radicals. (JP2691884) |
MD-OB Series: |
A modification of MD that is adapted for the use in oily slurry. The Powder surfaces are conditioned hydrophobic with hydrogen atoms. |
PM Class: |
PM Series: |
Characterized with the deposit on the surface of non-diamond carbon, and minute cracks inside. The particle surfaces are hydrophobic. Adequate for precision machining processes. |
PM-A Series: |
A modification of PM. The particle surfaces are conditioned hydrophobic with hydrogen. The Aggregation tendency is lower than PM. |
PM-D Series: |
Another modification of PM, as surface treated with detergent or surfactant. Suitable for the use in aqueous slurry. |
